To permeate people with a clear understanding of the Great Commission while increasing a passionate motivation to complete the task through our combined resources.

Overview

Our church supports 26 North American missionaries and seven national church planters in 24 different ministry areas around the world. We also have a ministry partnership with a local Hispanic church.

Local Missions

  • Macedonia Baptist—Immanuel has partnered with this church in reaching the growing Hispanic community of Holland with the Word to further advance the kingdom.
  • Audio Scripture Ministries—A ministry which puts God's Word in audio form to all people in their heart language wherever translated Scriptures are available.
  • Children's Bible Hour—The aim of this ministry is to tell boys and girls about Jesus and the plan of salvation, to teach young Christians God's Word, and to train children for Christian service.
  • Living Message Fellowship—(now referred to as CBH)This ministry's goal is to reach the USA business and professional community with the Gospel and Bible studies.

Short-term Missions

Immanuel offers many unique opportunities to grow in your Christian walk and to minister to others through short-term missions.

  • Camp Cedine, Tennessee — Contact Ed Barber or Jason Ebels — This is a great opportunity involving work projects for singles, couples or the entire family to serve together; normally this trip is planned during spring break which is the first week of April
  • Oddessa, Ukraine — Contact Pete Koppenaal — Annual trips include work projects, teaching English and hosting Bible school programs for children and usually takes place in June/July
  • Bangkok, Thailand — Contact Kathy Tryce or Lori Lorenz — This trip is in October and involves teaching the nationals English
  • High School and Middle School Trips — Contact Alyn Goossen

Prayer Requests

Please pray for the missionaries listed in the weekly bulletin. Current updates on Immanuel's missionaries are placed on the literature table in the foyer on Sundays, as they become available.

Opportunities to Give

Offerings are collected during the Sunday morning worship services. Funds designated for missions should be marked on the offering envelope. Monetary gifts for Immanuel's missions program can also be sent directly to the church.
