Construction Timetable

  • In the fall of 2006 we worked on ground preparation of the property, installation of basic utilities, and an area retention pond.
  • In the summer of 2007 we began work on the foundation and exterior shell of the building.
  • Our anticipated move-in date is October of 2008 at which time all aspects of the building (apart from the auditorium) will be operational.

Think Outside the Box!

This is our campaign theme for the building project. In His relationship with people, God has demonstrated throughout the ages that He works "outside the box" of our finite minds, abilities, and expectations. He has done so throughout the life of Immanuel and will do so again in the coming days. In preparation, we want to encourage the Immanuel family to think outside the box in several ways. Consider the "box" as the new building itself — a ministry tool. What's outside that "box" are people — people who still need to hear the Word of God and take one-step-forward in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Reflect on the step of faith God may ask you to take. Consider how your giving financially translates into a physical tool that will allow us to reach today's world through the Word of God. After all, a love for His Word and people are central to Immanuel's core values.

As our plans for building are now a reality, let's think, pray, and dream about how God will use our new facility to reach our community and the world while preparing for the unique role He has in mind for us as we eagerly move forward.
